A seasoned hospitality veteran with more than 20 years of experience, Jay’s focus is the daily corporate oversight management of the HVMG portfolio of hotels, including maximizing results of each property as well as participating in various other company-wide duties and responsibilities. Prior to his appointment as Vice President of Operations, Jay served HVMG as Regional Director of Operations, overseeing operations and management for five Marriott/Hilton brand hotels.

Jay joined HVMG in 2005 after working with Lodgian as Regional Operations Manager – Western Region. In 1999, Jay was named Lodgian’s “General Manager of the Year” when he served as General Manager of the Denver Airport Marriott, which he managed from its opening in 1998 until 2002. Jay previously worked with HVMG CEO, Robert Cole, at Impac Hotel Group. He holds a B.S. in Hotel / Restaurant Administration from the University of Massachusetts.
