Maria has more than 22 years of business experience, with an extensive and varied background in virtually all aspects of finance and accounting. Maria’s team ensures that the owner’s and investor’s reporting requirements are met by preparing the financial statements in accordance with GAAP in a timely manner. Her team also provides various ad -hoc reports, cash flow projections, tax reporting, risk management, internal audit and cash management support.

Prior to joining HVMG, Maria was the international network leader for the CFO services practice at North Highland, an international management consulting firm. Maria was responsible for ensuring that the North Highland offices supported the finance and accounting needs of their clients.

Maria’s expertise includes finance organizational assessments and strategy, process optimization, and Information Technology strategy. She has worked with clients such as Coca-Cola, Gaylord Entertainment and Outback International. Maria also spent more than eight years at Delta Air Lines in various finance and accounting positions, including Director of Treasury, Director of Revenue Accounting, and General Manager of Financial Planning and Analysis. Prior to joining Delta Air Lines, Maria was a Senior Auditor with Ernst and Young. Maria is a CPA, Certified Treasury Professional and a green-belt in Six Sigma. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Economics, with a concentration in Accounting, from Lehigh University in Bethlehem, PA.
