Mike serves as a Regional Controller for Hospitality Ventures Management Group. He joined HVMG in May 2010 after spending 15 years in hotel operations, 12 as a property Controller/Director of Finance. A seasoned Controller who emphasizes the operational health of a property as much as its financial strength, Mike joined HVMG after gaining an extensive background as a CFO and Controller for companies such as Sea Trail Corporation, Interstate Hotels, Omni Hotels and Ocean Properties, spending most of his time at their highly decorated, luxury and resort collection.

Mike has valuable experience operating and running large, upscale resorts such as Sea Trail Golf Resort and Convention Center, Marriott’s Sawgrass @ Ponte Vedra Beach Resort & Spa, Casa Marina Resort & Beach Club in Key West, Hilton Key West Resort & Marina and Sunset Key Island, helping these properties gain 4 and 5 star designations. He also has experience working for executive-style hotels such as Omni Hotel at CNN Center Atlanta, Westin Atlanta North Perimeter and Adam’s Mark Downtown Denver. Mike is a graduate of the HRM School, Mercyhurst College in Erie Pennsylvania, where he graduated with a degree in Accounting and a minor in Finance while playing varsity baseball for 4 years.
