Hospitality Ventures Announces Updated Name, New Logo & New Website

ATLANTA, GA —Since its founding in 2001, the company has used the name Hospitality Ventures, and today the privately owned hotel ownership and management firm has formally announced that it has recently gone through a major rebranding initiative which includes an update to its name—Hospitality Ventures Management Group (HVMG).  The company believes this more accurately reflects the full range and depth of services currently being offered and utilized by third parties within the hospitality industry. The new logo features a rotated ‘G,’ symbolizing HVMG’s expertise as ‘turnaround’ specialists.  A more detailed overview of the rebranding, which stemmed from a comprehensive strategic planning initiative HVMG undertook earlier in the year, can be found on the company’s new website, http://www.hvmg.com.

“Through extensive research and interviews with various key stakeholders inside and outside of our organization, we realized that the name ‘Hospitality Ventures’ did not accurately reflect our new long-term strategic vision and our platform’s depth and full capabilities,” says Robert Cole, HVMG President & CEO.  “By adding ‘Management Group,’ our name offers a clearer description of what we do and is more consistent with what our plan calls for. We also believe our updated name together with our new logo and new website, will better distinguish us to others in the industry as turnaround specialists, expert operators and innovative deal-makers.”

HVMG’s new three-year strategic plan resulted in the crafting of a new Vision and Mission, the identifying of several market differentiators that separate HVMG from other hospitality firms and establishing strategic objectives with tactical initiatives. Part of HVMG’s strategic plan, which calls for 20% annual growth, was the addition of key company executive-level positions and the creation of a comprehensive suite of hotel operations advisor and consulting services that it now offers to hotel owners, lenders and operators that can be utilized separately from HVMG’s award-winning third-party management services.

HVMG’s completely new website, http://www.hvmg.com, features detailed information on the firm’s leadership team, depth of services and capabilities while also showcasing HVMG’s history, results, case studies and brand relationships. Content is organized and communicated to represent all HVMG resources and services offered to multiple audiences including capital partners, other owners and parties seeking third-party management assistance. The web site also features testimonials from various stakeholders, blogs written by the HVMG executive team, issues of the HVMG corporate newsletter and a PR/media section.

“With our updated branding and strategic plan and more resources at our disposal, I’m confident that HVMG is on the verge of a new era of growth and operational success that will help us achieve our Vision of being the most sought-after employer, operator and partner in the hotel industry and the leading solution provider for underperforming properties,” says Mr. Cole. In 2010, HVMG grew its portfolio by 33% and is currently on track to increase by another 35% in 2011, despite one of the tougher operating and growth environments in the history of the hotel industry.
