Hospitality Ventures Management Group hired Donald R. Hansen, CHA, as GM of the Holiday Inn Oceanfront-Hilton Head Island. HVMG has been retained to provide third-party management of the full-service, 202-room Holiday Inn Oceanfront-Hilton Head Island which is under new ownership. HVMG has been managing the property since August 2010.

Hansen brings more than 15 years of hospitality industry management experience to his new position. Prior to joining HVMG, Mr. Hansen was General Manager of Hilton Garden Inn on Hilton Head Island. He also has served as a general manager for full-service properties in Jacksonville, FL and Williamsburg, VA. Mr. Hansen holds a B.S. in Business Administration from Roger Williams University and he is a retired U.S. Marine officer.
