Located in the quiet residential section of Daytona Beach Shores along "The World's Most Famous Beach," The Shores Resort & Spa was identified as a sound investment opportunity featuring the perfect combination of strong demand and the potential for continued growth. It is the only AAA Four Diamond property in the area and features upscale amenities including oceanside firepits, an award-winning restaurant and a boutique spa.
This hotel underwent a comprehensive multi-million renovation and repositioning. No detail was too small for the guest room upgrades and the amenities were brought up to the standard expected of a AAA Four Diamond property. Targeting business travelers and meeting planners, the 16,300 square feet of fully-equipped and flexible indoor meeting space was re-imagined to meet the needs of both social and corporate events.
Along with the hotel’s physical renovation came a renovation of its online presence with the creation of the new http://www.ShoresResort.com. The website saw an increase in total traffic of 22%, attributed to the Search Engine Optimization tactics used. In addition, room night bookings/revenue via the website more than doubled from the prior year.
