Embarking on a New Culinary Journey

Nestled within the scenic landscape of Steamboat Springs lies the Holiday Inn, a property that recently underwent a significant transformation. At the forefront of this change is the iconic local restaurant, Rex's American Grill & Bar, now rebranded and revitalized into a culinary haven known as Harison's.

A Fresh Start with a Nod to Heritage

We assumed management of the hotel in early 2023 and helped ownership bring their vision of renewal and excellence to life. Recognizing the 16-year legacy of Rex's, a favorite among locals and visitors alike, we embarked on a journey to renovate and rebrand the dining establishment. The new name, "Harison's", pays homage to the historic yellow rose of the region, symbolizing both beauty and resilience.

Elevating the Dining Experience

Harison's introduces an upscale casual American concept, blending delicious food with thoughtful cocktails. Under the expert guidance of General Manager Mike Varozza, the restaurant at 3190 S. Lincoln Ave. welcomes guests to experience a complete transformation, from a floor-to-ceiling renovation to a revamped menu and brand identity. The restaurant's rebirth aligns with the commitment to excellence we have worked to instill since acquiring the property along with Rex's.

Collaboration and Inspiration

The transformation of Harison's is a testament to collaborative creativity. The renovation, carried out by Rumor Design, and the branding and website, masterminded by Blue Fire Collective, drew inspiration from the rich history of Steamboat Springs. In partnership with the Tread of Pioneers Museum, the story of the Harison's Yellow Rose, brought to the valley in 1874 by Margaret Crawford, the founding mother of Steamboat Springs, became a focal point of inspiration.

A Culinary Adventure Awaits

Harison's promises an array of creative choices at all meals, from breakfast offerings starting at 6:30 AM to dinner options until 9 PM. Chef Michael Rivera, the maestro behind the menu, introduces dishes like Colorado lamb meatballs, Thai crunch salad, and stone-fired pizzas. The menu also features extravagant options like a venison filet, prime rib, and the show-stopping double-cut pork chop with a bourbon-apple glaze.

Crafted Cocktails and Exclusive Offers

The bar at Harison's isn't just about drinks; it explores the Rocky Mountain spirit, featuring ten signature cocktails. Dining options extend beyond the restaurant, with takeout and delivery services through ChowNow and DoorDash. The daily happy hour, local specials like Taco Tuesdays, and the loyalty program ensure that Harison's remains a community favorite.
