Josh Harper has over 20 years of experience in the hospitality industry. He started his career at the front desk with Remington Hotels in 2000 at an Embassy Suites in Austin, Texas. Josh's career in hospitality really took off in 2011 when he joined HVMG in Houston, Texas. He moved into a task force role that took him across the country and across many brands including Marriott, Hilton, and Hyatt. At HVMG, Josh honed his skills as a turnaround specialist. His HVMG experience allowed for a move to the west coast with a new management company, Atrium Hospitality. While in Portland, Oregon, Josh became General Manager of InnVentures Hospitality's flagship hotel, Residence Inn Downtown Riverplace. During his time there, Josh was head of the Portland/Seattle Residence Culture Council and was on the National Residence Inn Culture Council for more than two years. Josh was then promoted to Vice President of Operations for InnVentures. In this role, he oversaw a 17-hotel portfolio of different hotel brands covering Seattle to Daytona Beach, and everywhere in between. Fortunately, Josh was able to return to the HVMG family as Corporate Director of Operations in late 2022.
