Harvey Acevedo is a hospitality development and construction leader with more than two decades of experience managing hotel design, renovation, and new-build projects. As Director of Project Management at Elevate by HVMG, he oversees a $125 million portfolio of branded hospitality projects across North America. Throughout his career, Harvey has directed more than $745 million in project value representing nearly 10,000 hotel keys for leading brands including Hyatt, Hilton, Marriott, Wyndham, and IHG. He is recognized for combining construction expertise, project leadership, and strategic business insight to deliver high-value hospitality assets and operational excellence.

Prior to Elevate by HVMG, Harvey held leadership roles with Peregrine Hospitality, Prism Hotels & Resorts, Premier Project Management, and Hyatt Hotels Corporation. During his 11-year tenure with Hyatt, he advanced from project manager to director, contributing to the successful design and construction of more than 50 hotel projects throughout the United States, Mexico, and Central America.

Known for his strong business acumen and operational leadership, Harvey has built scalable project management systems, implemented process improvements, and developed reporting frameworks that enhance project execution and maximize owner returns. He holds an MBA from Southern Methodist University's Cox School of Business and a Bachelor of Science in Technical Management, graduating summa cum laude.
